Amidst the chaos of the spring rush, I wanted to bring you up to speed on the projects that the directors and staff have been working on:
New member orientation program: KAR’s newest members will soon be the first to go through the newly updated New Member Orientation program. Watch your inbox next week for more details – all members, new and not-so-new, will be invited to test-drive the online version of the orientation program for free.
ReallyTrusted: we are happy to report a successful launch of the ReallyTrusted app last month. If you haven’t yet registered, visit https://app.reallytrusted.com/ and create a new account.
Rule review: the Professional Standards Committee is in the process of reviewing KAR’s MLS® Rules of Cooperation. KAR members will get an opportunity to comment on the suggested changes later this year.
Diversity and Inclusion task force: This new joint task force will be populated by KAR and KADREA directors.
Government Liaison Days: KAR will be attending BCREA’s Government Liaison Days next week, which includes private meetings with the five MLAs who serve the KAR regions. This year’s discussion topics are housing supply and energy efficiency certification. Visit REALTOR Link® for more details on BCREA’s lobbying efforts.

2021 KAR President
FINTRAC changes are coming: are you ready?
BCREA will be hosting webinars for brokers
and members to help you navigate the transition and be aware of the new requirements. To register, visit the KAR course calendar on the KAR Member Portal, the main resource for all your education information. (Note: BCREA will continue to update their website as they receive more details. CREA's updates are via REALTOR Link®.)
Feel free to contact Jodi at the KAR office with your education questions.
Are your documents not loading in Xposure? Here's some advice: make sure you remain on "Documents" tab while your files load. Leaving the tab or closing Autoload could be preventing the files from uploading correctly.
Co-listing between brokerages - what do you need?
As per KAR's MLS® Rule 1.12, "Brokerages must ensure they have a Co-List Agreement Form between listing brokerages. The MLS® Contract must have only one brokerage on it."
It's good practice to upload a copy of the Co-List Agreement form under the "Documents" tab in Autoload.
There have been some changes at the KAR office:
we moved, but not far! Our new location is at
